KPCC Visitor Welcome Center

What kind of church is Kingdom Purpose Christian
Center?
Some people wonder whether we are Apostolic, Charismatic, or
Pentecostal. No, we are not traditional Apostolic. In fact, we are not even
"traditional" Charismatic, or "traditional" Pentecostals. We are simply a
Kingdom Church, we are people who love Jesus Christ and are committed to helping
others to know, love, and follow Him be equipped for purpose. We are an
Apostolic Center for Kingdom Advancement and Transformation.
Will I have to stand up in
front of people?
Some churches call on their visitors to stand up during the
service and introduce themselves. While we are genuinely interested in getting
to know you and make you feel welcome, we will never embarrass you in any way.
When our guests are greeted from the pulpit, some people will stand up just from
habit of doing that at other churches. However, you can relax and enjoy meeting
people at your own pace.
Do I have to dress up?
No, you don't. We encourage
people to dress comfortably. For some, that may mean dressing up, but for most
it simply means wearing casual clothes. The New Testament simply instructs us to
dress modestly and decently, so we do not burden people unnecessarily by
requiring them to dress up in fancy clothes they do not normally wear just to
"go to church." We want everyone to feel comfortable as they enjoy our wonderful
worship services.
What are the times of your worship services?
Our worship services are
Sunday at 9:30am and Tuesday 7:00pm for Kingdom Studies. Check out the church
calendar for dates and times of other activities. Come dressed comfortable, and
ready to enjoy learning about God together.
Where will my children go
during the service?
At the moment we have family worship services but will eventually
have services for the children in the near future.
Is my leadership position
from my former church automatically transferable?
No. Although any education
you've obtained or any past leadership experience can be very helpful, your
leadership position at your former church is non-transferable. At Kingdom
Purpose Christian Center Intl, serving in leadership is a privilege, not a
right. We need leaders who desire to serve not only Christ, but also demonstrate
a sincere willingness to serve others. Upon completing a background check, all
potential leaders are closely observed by the senior pastor, for an unspecified
period of time, to determine competency, willingness to serve, ability to get
along with others, etc.
What's the preaching like?
At KPCC, it is our sincere
desire to share God's Word in all its truth without watering anything down, but
to do it in love, and in ways that are interesting, engaging and relevant to
your daily life. The Word of God will be taught from a Kingdom perspective with
clarity, demonstration, simplicity, direction and interaction. The Pastors of
KPCC are teachers by nature and are humorous. They love to have fun and feels
that teaching the Word of God does not have to be boring. But why not find
out for yourself? Come Witness the Kingdom Purpose Experience for yourself.
What
kind of music do you have?
We offer a primarily Contemporary worship
service that praises God. Worship services are enhanced with very talented
soloists and musicians.
The focus of all of our worship services
is to bring glory to God and to support and encourage every worshipper in their
journey of faith.
What is baptism all about?
WATER
BAPTISM
The
scriptural mode of baptism is immersion, and is only for those who have fully
repented, having turned from their sins and a love of the world. There is no
reference to infant baptism in the Word of God. Baptism should be administered
by a duly authorized minister of the Gospel, in obedience to the Word of God,
and in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, according to the Acts of the Apostles
2:38, 8:16, 10:48, 19:5; thus obeying and fulfilling Matthew 28:19.
