Counseling God's Way

Counseling God's Way has been developed to assist our pastoral team in providing care for our church community. We offer one-on-one counseling and support groups. We provide a safe environment where you can experience God’s love, healing, hope and learn biblically based solutions that will support you in your growth in becoming a highly effective Christian.

We believe that in the church that every member has been given spiritual gifts for the purpose of ministering to one another. In fact, the bible teaches, that Christians are best qualified to come alongside one another because they understand the will of God as taught in scripture and are able to apply scripture rightly to life.

Our lay counseling ministry  is offered for life crisis, personal and relationship challenges. We also offer budget coaching  as well. Our support groups will connect you with others who are on a journey of healing and recovery and will provide an atmosphere of affirmation and hope so that you might know the God who loves you and is for you.

Lay Biblical Counseling

Our counselors provide encouragement, insight and biblical guidance to members during times of crisis, change or personal and family difficulties, by helping people find biblically based solutions to their problems.  The ultimate goal of the ministry is to help persons to develop an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ that fulfill their deepest needs and desires.

Counseling is offered for:  Abuse, Addiction, Anger Management, Anxiety, Depression, Grief, interpersonal conflict, individual marriage counseling, healing for past hurts and financial counseling.

Counseling consist of one-on-one counseling with men and women who have been trained and equipped to apply biblical principles to all areas of life. Church counselors are paraprofessionals (not paid professional therapists)  There are no fees involved in seeing a lay counselor.
